Park City Launches National Recruitment for New City Manager
Park City, Utah – Park City has launched a national recruitment effort to fill its vacant City Manager position, a critical leadership role within the municipal organization. As Park City’s chief administrative officer, the City Manager prepares the City’s annual budget, implements policy direction from the City Council, and oversees a wide range of departments, including police, public works and utilities, building, planning, engineering, economic development, recreation, trails and open space, human resources, and more.
The search is being conducted by Columbia Ltd., an executive search firm specializing in public-sector leadership. Columbia Ltd. previously supported Summit County, Utah, with the recruitment of its county manager.
Recruitment Timeline:
- Opening of Recruitment: December 1, 2025
- Application Deadline: January 18, 2026
- Preliminary Interviews: Late January
- Final Interviews: Late February
