Park City to Celebrate New Community Center Groundbreaking

Park City, Utah – On behalf of the City Council and the Recreation team, Park City Mayor Nann Worel invites the community to attend the groundbreaking celebration for the new 15,000-square-foot Community Center in City Park — a modern hub for locals, families, recreation, and events. 

The new building will replace the aging 1980s-era facility in the heart of Park City. It will continue to host one of its most popular current uses summer camps while offering flexible programming space, upgraded amenities, and a welcoming venue for year-round gatherings. This project reflects the City Council’s ongoing commitment to investing in spaces that encourage community connection.

  • Who: Mayor Nann Worel, Park City Councilmembers, City teams, summer campers, and community members 
  • When: Thursday, August 14 | 1:00 p.m. 
  • Where: City Park (Adjacent to the basketball and sand volleyball courts) 
  • Media: Photo, video, and interview opportunities will be available during the groundbreaking ceremony.

You can hire a contractor to perform a whole home energy performance assessment. You can find a list of contractors and more on the Utah Energy Conservation Coalition.

Alternatively, Dominion Energy offers a Thermwise Home Energy Plan assessment for only $25. This will be refunded if you make use of any of their additional rebates by installing any of several home energy efficiency upgrades.
