The Engineering Department coordinates, reviews, and approves all private-funded public improvements initiated by the development community, from design through construction to completion. The Engineering Team works closely with the Planning and Building Teams to accomplish this task.

In addition, the Engineering Team reviews and manages many of the City's capital improvement projects. The Department's Public Improvements Inspector inspects all water line installation and work that occurs within the public right-of-way.

 

Park City Supplemental Standards and Specifications

The City has adopted the American Public Works Association (APWA) Standard Specifications and Plans as the standards for all construction and improvements in the public right-of-way. The Engineering Team additionally maintains and updat the City Supplemental Standards and Specifications to be used in conjunction with the APWA standards.

Traffic Impact Study Guidelines

The Traffic Impact Study Guidelines provide a framework for when a transportation impact study may be required for new land use developments or redevelopments in Park City. The required contents of the transportation impact study are also provided in these guidelines.

PCMC is inviting proposals from qualified persons or firms (“Respondents”) to provide Park City Community Center CMAR Services.

PROPOSALS DUE: By 2:00 p.m. MST on Thursday, March 7, 2025. Submit proposals electronically via Bonfire formerly Utah Public Procurement Place (“U3P”). The proposals will be opened after the submission deadline.

RFP AVAILABLE: The RFP will be available on February 14, 2025, on the Bonfire website. Any modifications to the RFP or responses to questions submitted will be added as an addendum to the RFP posted on the U3P website. It is the responsibility of Respondents to regularly check for addenda.

QUESTIONS: All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing through the U3P website by 5:00 p.m. MST on Monday, March 3, 2025. Please, do not submit the same question multiple times.

PROJECT LOCATION: 1400 Sullivan Road, Park City, UT 84060

PROJECT DESCRIPTION (brief): Provide construction management and general contractor services for the construction of the proposed Park City Community Center, a new single-story building of approximately 15,000 square feet that will replace the existing Park Recreation Building located at City Park in Park City, UT.

PROJECT DEADLINE:

Phase 1 (Pre-Construction Services): anticipated duration of 5 months from February 2025 to August 2025.

Phase 2 (Construction Services): Anticipated duration of 15 months from August 2025 to October 2026.
