New Community Center at City Park
Park City is moving forward with a long‑anticipated rebuild of the Community Center at City Park. The aging 1980s‑era community center is being replaced with a modern, 15,000‑square‑foot facility designed for today’s residents, families, and events. This new hub will provide year‑round space for recreation, gatherings, and programs in the heart of one of our most cherished community parks.
Project Elements

- Expanded access to day camps for Park City residents

Project Timeline
- June 2024 | City Council approval to move forward with the design of the project
- August 2024 | Submit applications for Conditional Use Permit, Master Planned Development, and Plat Amendment
- September 2024 | Planning Commission Work Session
- November 7 | Project Update City Council
- December 11 | Planning Commission Approval for Conditional Use Permit and Master Planned Development
- May 2025 | Submit for Building Permit
- August 2025 | Construction Groundbreaking
- November 2026 | Construction Complete
