A fire hydrant meter, typically used during construction or for large water demands like filling a pool, is available. There are three charges for a fire hydrant meter, a deposit, a monthly charge while the meter is checked out, and a usage charge for the water used.

If you’d like a hydrant meter, please follow the steps below:

  1. Verify your project is in Park City, in an area served by the Park City Water Department. Use this map.
  2. Determine which size hydrant meter you’d like (2” or ¾”) and whether you'd like a hydrant wrench for an additional deposit charge. Review the cost of those selections here.
  3. Complete the Fire Hydrant Service Agreement. Pay special attention to the operation instructions. You are responsible if improper operation damages the water system.
  4. Wait for an email from us with the amount of the deposit.
  5. Pay the deposit.
  6. Receive an email with instructions for pickup.

If you have any questions, please contact us, and we'd be happy to help.
