Hydrant Meter
A fire hydrant meter, typically used during construction or for large water demands like filling a pool, is available. There are three charges for a fire hydrant meter, a deposit, a monthly charge while the meter is checked out, and a usage charge for the water used.
If you’d like a hydrant meter, please follow the steps below:
- Verify your project is in Park City, in an area served by the Park City Water Department. Use this map.
- Determine which size hydrant meter you’d like (2” or ¾”) and whether you'd like a hydrant wrench for an additional deposit charge. Review the cost of those selections here.
- Complete the Fire Hydrant Service Agreement. Pay special attention to the operation instructions. You are responsible if improper operation damages the water system.
- Wait for an email from us with the amount of the deposit.
- Pay the deposit.
- Receive an email with instructions for pickup.
If you have any questions, please contact us, and we'd be happy to help.
