On February 26, 2025, the Planning Commission approved the Phase I Conditional Use Permit for the Snow Park Village parking structure (Final Action Letter).

The Phase II application for vertical development atop the parking structure is expected to be submitted for Planning Commission review later in 2025.

Vacation of Deer Valley Drive

On December 14, 2023, the City Council voted to approve Ordinance No. 2023-56 vacating portions of Deer Valley Drive at the Snow Park base, and to form a public-private partnership with Deer Valley Resort. The framework of the partnership is articulated in a Letter of Intent. See Frequently Asked Questions about the Partnership: FAQ 1 & FAQ 2.

Deer Valley Resort Snow Park Applications

On August 24, 2021 Deer Valley Resort submitted the following applications to the Planning Department:
• An Amendment to the existing Deer Valley Resort Twelfth Amended and Restated Large Scale Master Planned Development Permit as part of the process of redeveloping the existing Snow Park Village Parking Lots and Base Area. The Master Planned D evelopment application seeks to redevelop the base area in three phases and includes a request for a reduction from the LMC required number of Off-Street Parking stalls provided for the future Resort supporting Commercial and Residential Uses. The submittal includes a Transportation Analysis.
• A Conditional Use Permit application for Phase 1 of the redevelopment of the Snow Park Base Area and surface parking lots. Proposed Phase 1 includes the Overall Site Plan, a new 4-story parking structure partially built into the grade, and a new Transit and Mobility Hub. In addition to the parking structure, proposed Phase 1 includes redirecting skier traffic to Deer Valley Drive East and prioritizing transit on Deer Valley Drive West.
