The Park City Council will hold its regular meeting on Thursday, March 5, at 4:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. Agenda highlights include:
Property Encroachment Policy Update
During the work session, the Council will review national research and discuss various features of a potential policy that addresses encroachments on City property. View the Encroachment Policy agenda item.
Munchkin Road Realignment
The Council will consider authorizing the Acting City Manager to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with 1251 Kearns, LLC and Emporium Properties, LLC to realign Munchkin Road and create a larger City-owned lot at 1825 Woodbine Way. View the Munchkin Road agenda item.

The City Council will also hold a joint meeting with the Summit County Council on Friday, March 6, at 9:00 a.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. Agenda topics are expected to include a recap of the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics and a discussion about the proposed new senior center along Park Avenue.

Register for the Leadership Symposium
Friday, March 13 | 8:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. | Park City Hospital — Blair Education Center
The 2026 Leadership Symposium is a full-day civic and leadership event produced by Leadership Park City. The event brings together local, regional, and national voices to explore community growth, leadership, public safety, housing, mental health, and other topics. Through keynotes, panels, and interactive sessions, attendees will gain insights into local challenges and practical tools for leadership. Purchase tickets.
Waste Reduction Ordinance
In October 2025, the City Council approved moving forward with a waste reduction ordinance for Park City. The ordinance includes requirements for Park City businesses and waste haulers, including businesses that haul their own recycling.
