Main Street Slurry Seal

Park City Municipal Corporation will perform essential street maintenance on Monday, June 24, 2025, requiring a full closure of Main Street from Heber Avenue to the Swede Alley intersection for a slurry seal application. This preventative treatment is critical restoring the roadway following the water line replacement and maintaining the quality and safety of our historic downtown.

Closure Details:

• Date: Tuesday, June 24, 2025
• Time: Full closure from 2:00 a.m. to approximately 2:00 p.m.
• Location: Main Street, Heber Avenue to Swede Alley intersection
• Purpose: Slurry seal application to extend pavement life and improve surface quality
• Weather Contingency: In the event of rain, work may be postponed to Wednesday, June 25

Important Information:

• No vehicle access or on-street parking permitted during the closure period
• Pedestrian access will remain open, with minor detours as needed
• Republic Services will collect trash at 4:00 a.m. Please place bins out the night before and ensure they are accessible
• Deliveries are strongly discouraged during the closure. If absolutely necessary, limited staging will be available on Swede Alley, and items may be hand-carted via pedestrian routes to Main Street businesses
• Reopening is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., pending weather and slurry curing conditions
