This Week in Planning Commission
The Park City Planning Commission will hold its regular meeting on Wednesday, April 22, at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. Agenda highlights include:
Lower Iron Horse Loop – Master Planned Development, Conditional Use Permit, Zone Change
During the work session, the Commission will review a proposal to develop a vacant lot at 1885 Lower Iron Horse Loop Road with 17 residential units. View the 1885 Lower Iron Horse Loop staff report.
Municipal Sign Code Amendments

Save the Date – Historic Preservation Celebration
Friday, May 8 | 4-6 p.m. | McPolin Farm
Park City will mark Historic Preservation Month with a free community gathering at the McPolin Barn. The open-house-style event is a chance to meet the people and organizations working to protect the community’s heritage and to learn about local preservation efforts. Guests are encouraged to walk, bike, or ride public transit, as no parking is available on-site. Free parking and a shuttle to the farm will be available at the North Marsac Lot at City Hall and the surface lot at 1376 Munchkin Road. RSVP for the Historic Preservation Celebration.
Transmission Line Undergrounding
Park City Municipal and Rocky Mountain Power are undergrounding high-voltage transmission lines in the Bonanza Park area. The current traffic configuration on Kearns Boulevard, with one lane of travel in each direction, will remain in place through Sunday, April 26. Steel plates will remain over the trenches on Kearns until paving, which is scheduled for the nights of May 5 and 6. Drivers should anticipate delays and consider alternate routes when possible.
