Park City's Crosswalk Treatment Guidelines provide crossing typology uniformity across the city's active transportation network for all City crosswalks. The crosswalk treatment guidelines are designed to complement, not replace, the federally mandated standards established by the MUTCD and FHWA.

1. Standardize maintenance and striping plans
2. Reinforce driver and pedestrian familiarity
3. Prioritized pedestrian safety
4. Locally, context-sensitive research-based guidelines
