Park City has secured a series of federal state, and county grants to improve bus stops throughout the community. The plan is to enhance access to transit, ADA accessibility, and add amenities at a total of 84 stops by December 2027. Our project timeline is listed below.
- 2024: 18 bus stops, which included shelters at 9 stops, were constructed. Additional amenities such as benches and trash cans were also included at select stops.
- 2025: Planning and design is underway for the remaining 66 bus stops planned for construction in 2026 and 2027.
- 2026: 35 bus stops, which will include shelters at 18 stops, are planned for construction. Additional amenities such as bike racks, ski racks, and trash cans will also be provided at select stops.
- 2027: 31 bus stops, which will include shelters at 10 stops, are planned for construction. Additional amenities such as bike racks, ski racks, and trash cans will also be provided at select stops.
You may have seen that some of the bus shelters constructed in 2024 include public art! Keep an eye out as we add additional artwork as new shelters are constructed.
See the stop list and map below for stops currently slated for improvement. Dates are subject to change due to construction timelines.
